I came down with some weird Christmas funk and woke up this morning feeling much better 🙌🏻 buttttt…. The whole house feels stale. So I’m starting in the kitchen with this simmer pot recipe! Measure with your heart, I’m just sharing what I’m adding to mine today. Reset Simmer Pot Recipe: 2 lemons, sliced 3 slices of fresh ginger 2 sprigs of rosemary 1 tsp vanilla paste 1/2 tbsp whole peppercorns Add all ingredients to a pot with water. Bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer. Add water as needed and you can use this for up to 3 days before I would switch out for fresh ingredients! An easy, nontoxic way to freshen up your home with ingredients you probably already have on hand! simmer pot, fresh home, clean home, reset after sickness

This recipe has become a tradition in our home and we like to sip on it over ice or even get a little crazy and put a splash in our coffees. Recipe: 1 cup Heavy cream 1 can sweetened condensed milk 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup 1 teaspoon instant coffee 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I use vanilla paste) 10 oz Whiskey of choice Add ingredients to a large blender and blend until combined. I created this by trying to find a way to make my favorite @greygoose La Poire (Pear) Vodka more seasonal for winter. It’s a warm and bright cocktail that’s perfect for enjoying by the tree. Recipe: 2 oz La Poire Vodka 2 oz Apple Cider 1 oz Amaretto 1 oz Lemon Juice Rim your cocktail glass with simple syrup and pumpkin pie spice. Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. It’s the perfect drink if you’re wanting a little sweet treat. Recipe: 1.5 oz chocolate Bailey’s 1.5 oz vanilla vodka 2 oz heavy cream or milk 1 oz amaretto Add to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and strain.
