Simple Ways to Make Your Home Cozy for Fall

Today I am sharing 5 simple ways to make your home cozy for fall!

I love decorating for fall and the warmth and coziness that comes with it. It’s finally September which means it’s time to decorate!

5 Simple Ways to Make Your Home Cozy for Fall

Floral Arrangements

Florals are so easy to change out for the seasons and they seriously just add so much coziness. I always love to have my staple greenery picks, but this year I am adding more natural -literally – pieces.

I have become obsessed with the infamous pampas grass and luckily where I live it grows EVERYWHERE. I may or may not snip a stem here and there from some of the plants. Hey – they need to be pruned yearly anyways!

Fall Scents

There is nothing more cozy than a pumpkin scented candle.

The flicker of the flame just adds this perfect ambience that we are searching for during the fall season.

Candles are probably the most cost effective way to add a touch of fall to your home. Some of my favorite ones are even at Walmart! I love to go to TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls to look for candles too. If you can find one in a neat container or even a warm tone colored candle, even better!

Another option is a stovetop potpourri. I will be sharing my go to recipe for this year soon, so be on the lookout. I will link it here once the post is live!

If you’re anything like me, you use your sense of smell to bring everything together.

Cozy Throw Blankets and Pillows

There is nothing like cozying up on the couch with a soft warm blanket and comfy pillows! From movie marathons to just enjoying a cup of coffee or tea – creating a cozy living room space is key to spruce up your home for fall.

Texture is EVERYTHING.

Never underestimate a pillow’s worth again!

Neutral Pumpkins

I shared my favorite neutral pumpkins for this year HERE

Pumpkins, especially neutral ones, instantly give your home that cozy fall feeling.

They can be used year after year and you can change up how you style them each year as well.

Bake Something Yummy

If you know me, you know I love to bake and cook. When my kiddos aren’t yelling and attached to my legs, of course…

Fall is the perfect season for some home made bread and warm soup.

Orrrr you could make a pumpkin treat. I have a few saved on my Pinterest to try out this season.

And while we are talking about it, go ahead and follow me on PINTEREST. I love finding so many different things on there and it’s a great place to store all of your favorite images!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you were inspired by these simple ways to make your home cozy for fall!
