The Best Pumpkin Donuts
Hi friend! Today I am excited to share with you the BEST pumpkin donuts I’ve ever had. The time changed this weekend and the temps have dropped so I am wanting all the cozy things. The Best Pumpkin Donuts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter – melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
- 3/4 cups pure pumpkin
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- melted butter for brushing
- cinnamon sugar and pumpkin pie spice mixture for tossing
How to:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl combine sugar and butter and mix until creamy. Add in eggs and mix thoroughly. Mix in the rest of the wet ingredients until well incorporated. Add in dry ingredients and mix well.
Grease a donut pan and spoon mixture into a pastry bag or a plastic bag and cut off the tip.
Fill the donut molds and bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and put on a cooling rack.
Brush with butter and toss in a bowl with cinnamon, sugar and pumpkin pie spice. You can experiment with the ratios until you love the taste.
