The best fall stovetop potpourri. Apples, oranges, cinnamon sticks and cloves on a cutting board

Fall Potpourri Recipe

You will need:

  • Apple
  • Orange
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Whole Cloves
  • Nutmeg (I used ground nutmeg because that’s what I had in the pantry!)

Cut the apple and orange into thin slices and gather your other ingredients and place in a pot with 2 cups of water.

It truly is THAT simple!

Simmer on low until you are finished with it or keep adding water. To be honest, I usually keep mine going for a few days.

Let’s just say my hubby swears like it smells like pumpkin spice season in our house!

There are so many different variations of stovetop potpourri you can make and I am going to be perfecting my Christmas scent over these next few weeks so be on the lookout for that!

Thanks so much for being here! I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post and make your home smell like the perfect fall day!
