Simple and Classic Christmas Dining Room & Kitchen
Hi friend! Today I am so excited to share with you my simple and classic Christmas dining room and kitchen!
This year I wanted to keep my Christmas decor neutral but add in pops of a deep red. Something about that traditional red gives off such a cozy and warm vibe.
With 3 little boys around simplicity is key. All of my decor this year is in spots they don’t get into which is key! My kitchen decor is extremely minimalistic this year. With bottles and sippy cups being used all day I needed to keep the clutter to a minimum so I am not constantly moving everything around to clean at the end of the night.
Christmas Dining Room
My husband and I installed these industrial style shelves last year right before Christmas. I wasn’t really sure how to style them last year so I left them fairly plain but I was so excited to decorate them this year!
I incorporated lots of mixed metals, wood tones, glass, and pops of Christmas greenery.
I made this little snow globe scene using this cake stand, faux snow, and bottle brush trees. It was such a fun little DIY to do to give this space a touch of Christmas!
I kept the tree in my dining room simple and just added in 2 types of ribbon, some red poinsettia flowers I got from the dollar tree! I had some black ornaments that have “joy” written on them and I thought they fit the space perfectly.
My husband and I built this pie safe a few months ago and it has been one of my favorite things to style. I wanted to add pops of color in that would really stand out even with the doors shut. On top I added my latest thrift store lamp and basket. I made the sign last year with my silhouette machine. I have so many of these small wreaths and I have sprinkled them all around my home!
I want to start collecting Santa mugs to eventually fill this pie safe up with but for now the few that I have is fine! I threw in a little bottle brush tree in this mug.
All I really added in my kitchen was 2 wreaths on the cabinets and I usually have one on my pantry door so I just switched it out to my Christmas one.
I put a small faux tree next to my son’s bottle machine. Y’all, this is totally off topic but this thing is a life saver!!
I always have a lamp on top of my fridge because it helps give this part of my kitchen just a little bit more light. I added a small tree and sign I got at Hobby Lobby a few years ago. We get into these cabinets fairly often so I didn’t want a bunch of stuff to move every time I needed to access what’s inside.
On my little coffee bar area next to the fridge I just added this piece of scrap pecan wood under my syrups and added one of my favorite little plants. His name is Spike, LOL!
