Cozy Traditional Christmas Home Tour at Night
Cozy Traditional Christmas Front Porch
I keep our front porch minimal each year for Christmas. I usually just add a wreath and a small outdoor tree. This year was no different. I found this wreath at Hobby Lobby last year and just swapped out the ribbon for this pretty blue velvet one.
I added the viral My Texas House tree in an old outdoor pot I have because it gave the tree a more substantial look at our front door.
Cozy Traditional Christmas Entryway
I wanted our entryway to remain relatively neutral with our Christmas decor. This was for 2 reasons. 1.) I didn’t want to buy more red and traditional ornaments at this time, and 2.) I have SOO many neutral ornaments so it just made sense to use what I had this year.
I added this beautiful Norfolk pine garland on my mirror and added in some little bell picks to the edge of it. I found my Letters to Santa box at Michael’s the year prior for 90% off after Christmas. It was such an amazing deal!
Then I added some little paper trees from Hobby Lobby that were a set of 5 for under $10. These paper trees are so popular in the past few years and these were the perfect touch for my entryway table.
Cozy Traditional Christmas Piano Styling
A few months ago, I painted my piano this beautiful charcoal color with Fusion Mineral Paint. It matches our home so much more now! You can watch the tutorial here.
One of my favorite things to do for seasonal decorating is to add in small pieces of art. Either by finding inexpensive pieces or adding in prints from Etsy, or my own Digital Art Collection. On our piano, I added the viral swan art from the Studio Mcgee collection at Target this year.
I made a swag out of 2 Norfolk pine stems I found at Hobby Lobby this year and added the wicker bells to them to create a little piece for the mirror.
I love a good mini Christmas tree, and this one from World Market does not disappoint! I put it in this white planter I found years ago at Home Goods and then topped it with some moss from Michael’s. The little red bows were the perfect touch and I love how it added some color to this area.
The mercury glass tree was a Walmart find if you can believe that! It’s from the My Texas House line and it looks amazing on the piano!
Cozy Traditional Christmas Dining Room
I added in my usual pencil tree to our dining room and kept the red and neutral theme in here.
I added these small taper battery operated candles to the tree and it gave the tree a beautiful vintage feel.
On the console, I added a few small trees and then this beautiful candlabra I found last year and put burgundy candles in it from Hobby Lobby.
On the light fixture, I added a garland along the bottom and then velvet ribbon bows. This is an affordable but beautiful touch to our dining room.
On our dining table, I added this large green bowl from Target and filled it with dried oranges and pinecones for a centerpiece.
Cozy Traditional Christmas Living Room
I went for a Ralph Lauren-esque feel in our living room by incorporating textures, tartan, and traditional colors.
On our mantle, I used the same garlands I have in years past and added some red berry picks and pinecone picks. I kept our usual stockings up here as well as my favorite flameless candles and taper candle holders from Amazon.
For our tree, I added red, green, and gold ornaments. I added in different picks for texture, as well.
Cozy Traditional Christmas Kitchen
The kitchen is the absolute heart of our home and I wanted it to feel cozy, too!
This year I opted against adding mini wreaths to our barstools, but I will definitely be bringing them back next year. I missed them! However, for our current busy season this was the most practical. I didn’t add too much to our kitchen but it still feels festive and cheery.
On the pot rack above our stove I added a dried orange garland, a green tea towel, and then this mini wreath with red ribbon.
On the island, I added some Christmas greenery to my vase in the scalloped tray. I also added this bell from Studio McGee a few years ago in a cloche that my husband DIY’d for me. It’s the perfect thing to keep on the counter. I usually have a seasonal candle in the tray as well!
Cozy Traditional Christmas Breakfast Nook
I decorated our shelves in here and added in just a few pieces.
I created a small vignette on our table with another potted mini Christmas tree. I love the simplicity it brings.
