2022 Intentions and Word of the Year
I cannot believe that it is the last day of 2021. It feels like we were just in January of this year. I have no idea how the year went by SO fast!!
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy a new year just as much as a new week or month. I love to have a fresh start. However, I think we all miss the concept that each day we have a fresh start. So, this year I want to set my 2022 intentions and decide on a word of the year instead of resolutions.
2021 was a year of growth. In all aspects. I can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for myself, my family, and this blog.
2022 Intentions and Word of the Year
Word of the Year
Persistent
I want to aim to be more persistent in all aspects of my life. Whether or not it’s showing up here growing my blog and social media pages to being persistent in working out and working on my diet.
Being persistent is probably one of the harder things to do especially when it’s something that doesn’t come naturally to us. I have some big business goals for this year and working on being persistent will help greatly with that.
Verse of the Year
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galations 6:9
What I’m leaving in 2021
I am leaving behind the need for everything to be perfect. My to do list will never be 100% done. The laundry will always need rotated. Something will always be undone.
I am going to stop fighting for everything to be perfect all the time.
Personal Goal
Like I mentioned earlier, I am focusing on my diet this year. I have definitely “let myself go” these past 5 years while I’ve had 3 children back to back. This year I want to change that. I have become a huge stress eater and that is something that is NOT helping me. Eating a handful of goldfish doesn’t change the situation nor does it make me feel less stressed.
Getting my eating under control will make such a difference. I want to feel comfortable in my skin and right now I am not. I dreaded taking Christmas photos with my family this year. That’s not going to work.
I hope you all had a Happy New Year and I cannot wait to share all of the things with you in 2022!
