Why We Chose Bamboo Shades
I have wanted our breakfast nook to feel like a cozy cafe area. What better way to bring coziness to a space than implementing both texture and warmth through bamboo shades?
When Neutral Curtains reached out to me, I was intrigued by their selection of bamboo shade options. They sent me samples of the entire Ramie collection, along with the various lining options. This is particularly helpful when deciding which shades to add to your home. The samples let you feel the texture and see how each option complements your space.
After choosing between 2 options, I decided on the Ramie Bamboo Shades in the color Coconut TJU-04 with the privacy liner. This color is the perfect medium-toned neutral brown. It fits our modern cottage feel in our home perfectly!
Easy Installation (yes, really!)
Installation was a breeze! Each shade comes packaged in plastic, along with its corresponding box of hardware. My husband, Robby, measured the placement on the window where we wanted these to be and used a drill to secure the screws and hanging hardware into our windows.
Once the hardware was secured into the window frame, Robby slid the shades onto the mounting brackets and tightened the wing nuts to secure them.
Within minutes, our breakfast nook was transformed into a cozy cafe feel.
Are Bamboo Shades Worth It?
You can feel confident about your choice to add these shades to your home, as they are OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are free from toxic materials. As well as cordless lift options for those of us with small children.
These shades lift and close with such ease compared to shades we’ve previously owned, even my husband was impressed and said “wow! These are so smooth to use.”
