Styling Thrifted Finds – Living Room

I found the frame on the top left on FBMP (Facebook Marketplace) and gave it a quick makeover with Antique Gold Rub-n-Buff. This is my favorite way to get a beautiful gold look on anything! I added the swan photo, which I digitally downloaded via Etsy and printed at Walgreens. I added mod podge to the print to remove the glossy sheen and make it look more like an oil painting.

I swapped out my wooden side table for this black traditional-style table I found on FBMP for $20! It ties in all the traditional elements I have in my living room.

I added these whimsy cosmos from Hobby Lobby to this vase from Studio McGee.

Styling Thrifted Finds – Kitchen

I am still working on our kitchen. There’s so much that I want to change, but I can live with it as it is. I moved my scalloped tray from the island of our stove to corral the things I have on the counter. Having a tray to keep everything together helps it feel better. One of my struggles is learning to go to the left side of the place.

I added this gorgeous blue and white raised bowl to the tray and decided to keep some fresh limes in it. They always get lost in the fridge, so I thought this would be a perfect spot for them—right where I need them, too!

Styling Thrifted Finds – Breakfast Nook

We will finally finish this build in our breakfast nook starting this coming weekend, and let me tell you, I cannot wait! We are building glass doors for the uppers and redoing the drawer fronts on the bottom. It’s about to look like a new space.

I switched out the florals in my thrifted vase, which I painted to make it look more rustic. I found these beautiful hydrangea stems at Hobby Lobby. They are huge and a fantastic deal. They fill the space perfectly. Also, how adorable are those little vintage teacups?! They are Wedgwood, and I hope to find more pieces of that collection!

I also changed out the art prints I keep in frames on the shelves to my spring prints. TIP: Keep the prints in the frame and switch which is in front for the season. This way, you don’t have to search for the print you had in it from the previous season!

Styling Thrifted Finds – Dining Room

I found this gorgeous scalloped hurricane at an antique store last weekend, and I knew it would be perfect as a centerpiece on the dining table. I added an ivory pillar candle to it, and it looks incredible.

I would love to find a beautiful table runner to keep on this table year-round, so that’s just moved to the top of my shopping list!
