Pink and Gold Valentine’s Tablescape!

Hi friend! I’m so excited to share this pink and gold Valentine’s tablescape I put together! I had so much fun creating this for y’all and it has me even more excited for Valentine’s Day!

I gathered all of the materials – some new and some repurposed – for under $40 including my florals. More on that in a bit.

I hope after reading this you are inspired to find what you have around your home and create something beautiful today.

Life is too short to not focus on creating beautiful things.

For this tablescape I wanted to keep things simple and beautiful. I’m not one to keep lots of Valentine’s decor so I didn’t have much to use but I had a few staple pieces that helped me create this look.

Florals

I went to my local grocery store – Publix and grabbed 4 small bundles of florals. They are advertised as designer bunches 3/$12 so they came out to $4 a piece. This is a great option if you like to design your own floral arrangements.

I knew I wanted to keep to the blush color family so I picked out carnations, roses, and hydrangeas. For green filler I grabbed some pittsporium.

I also added some faux ranunculus I had from Walmart. I cut each stem off the pick using wire cutters and removed the faux green leaves.

Now, I’m not much of a floral designer in the artistic way but I think this arrangement is still beautiful! I just added flowers where I saw space and the vase I used was full to the brim!

Cupcake Arrangement

I thought having some beautiful cupcakes displayed nicely on my buffet would be a perfect touch. This added even more Valentine’s Day decoration but it’s something consumable! I grabbed this cupcake stand from Walmart and spray painted it this beautiful champagne bronze color.

I made some easy vanilla cupcakes and iced them with pink buttercream frosting using a #1M tip which created this beautiful rose look. I topped them with some small gold sprinkles I had in my cake decorating stash.

I also just want to let you know that I have absolutely zero skill with icing and somehow these still turned out beautifully! Just give it a try and I’m sure you will be amazed with yourself like I was, too!

Tablescape

I recently picked up this light pink and white thin throw blanket from the Target dollar spot for $5. I thought it would be the perfect table runner that was different from the usual table runner.

I laid it on the table and just made it sit in this organic shape. In the center I placed the floral arrangement. So easy, right?!

I used the same spray paint on some old chargers I had to play into the gold theme. I used my regular white dinner plates on top of the chargers.

I grabbed these little pink plates from Walmart but they were just a tad too plastic looking so I grabbed some gold metallic paint I had on hand and just brushed them in vertical lines to give them an aged look.

For a extra beautiful touch, I printed off these little ‘LOVE’ tags I made on my computer. I punched out a hole on one side and tied this lace trim ribbon to them. I think this gave it such a beautiful but simple look.

There is so much beauty in simplicity. I hope these photos inspire you to create something with things you already have around your house. Gather your supplies and then just create and tweak things until it looks how you want!

I hope this post inspired you or just gave you something beautiful to look at today.
